What:
Join fellow Indiana Chapter SLA members in welcoming Gary Price to Indianapolis. Gary is a well known and widely quoted librarian, consultant, author and speaker. He created and keeps Resource Shelf up to date, was just named news editor for Search Engine Watch, is the co-author of the book The Invisible Web, maintains Price's List of Lists and is a featured speaker at WebSearch University, SLA's annual conference, Internet Librarian and numerous other conferences.
Gary will share with us his tips on staying current with the constant changes in our information environment. He'll discuss what's happening in the search engine world, what new tools and resources he's uncovered, and look at some trends important to information professionals.
This promises to be a most excellent, entertaining, and educational evening! Please join us!
Directions:
The NCAA is located at 700 West Washington Street. Parking is available at the White River State Park Underground Parking Garage for under $5.00.
From the North: Take I-65 South to the West Street exit and go toward the Indianapolis Zoo and IUPUI. Turn right onto Washington Street from West. The parking garage is on the right hand side of the street. Exit from the canal level of the garage and go across the canal bridge. The NCAA National Office is on the right.
From the South: Take I-65 North to I-70 West, exit onto West Street toward the Indianapolis Zoo and IUPUI. Turn left onto Washington Street from West. The parking garage is on the right hand side of the street. Exit from the canal level of the garage and go across the canal bridge. The NCAA National Office is on the right.
